If you were around in the nineties, then you know that Pearl Jam were a huge thing. While Australia and the US both have their own rock and pop scenes, Pearl Jam's appeal was pretty well universal. Nirvana was all about youthful angst and apathy while Pearl Jam was a little more ambitious, setting their sights on a deeper kind of angst, an existential honesty.
