Things are getting reeeaaal for New York housewife Sonja Morgan.

The reality star is going through a tough time with her money woes, but looks like things have just made a turn for the worse.

Sonja is in danger of losing her $6 million Upper East Side town house while she and her ex-husband John Adams Morgan fight in court.

Sonja says, "I'm sure the world thinks, 'Sonja doesn't have to worry. She's got that husband there for her.' But I'm on my own."

Sonja's ex is a descendant of the famous J.P. Morgan and even former President John Adams, however, he's refusing to pay her a $3 million lump-sum divorce settlement with $300,000 in back alimony.

While Mr. Adams lives high on the hog on his private $19 million island off of Stamford, Connecticut, Sonja has been banned from selling or visiting her their properties in Colorado and France.

In just the past few months, Sonja has filed for bankruptcy and is currently battling it out over other legal issues involving a movie her production company was set to finance.

Poor Sonja. We're really rooting for you, girl. We don't want to see you lose your home. Chin up, kiddo.

Looks like they're having fun, aren't they??

Celebrating Ashley Tisdale's birthday, she and her High School Musical co-star Zac Efron were spotted fooling around together at a friend's beach house in Malibu.

Not that kind of fooling around!

They kicked off the Fourth of July weekend just right by playing in the water and catching some sun. Zac even gave Ashley a piggyback ride! LOL so cute!

It looks like just innocent fun! Hope you have a great weekeend!

Considerations When Shopping For Instrument Cases

No one can deny the convenience of a wireless microphone. It frees you from having to pick through a jumble of wires that seem to get tangled every time you turn your back. It also significantly reduces the amount of weight you have to carry, thanks to the fact that there are no wires. However, wireless mikes are more delicate than their wired cousins, and more prone to malfunction unless they are handled and maintained properly.

Real World's most volatile bad boy ‘Puck' David Rainey has been arrested and charged in a domestic violence case. Puck was taken into custody last week by the LAPD and booked on suspicion of felony corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.

Cohabitant? That has to mean a new girlfriend, right? They couldn't mean his son, who Puck's already sufficiently traumatized for life when he got behind the wheel of their car drunk and flipped it into a San Diego creek with the 8-year-old boy trapped in the backseat. They would specify if he had hurt a minor, right?

Ugh! This guy really has some serious issues, issues we don't think he has ever really dealt with or ben punished for. Hopefully, this latest violent act didn't leave anyone too badly hurt!

Soap Dish: Daytime Emmy Awards!

If you watched the Daytime Emmy Awards than you know that it was less than stellar with very minimal good parts. I know it has been almost a week since the disaster that was the Daytime Emmy Awards aired but it took me that long to get my thoughts together. Seriously I was so disappointed and I am not talking about some of my favorite stars not winning. I am talking about the lack of respect that soap operas got at the awards show. There was a 20-minute tribute to Oprah but what about the tributes to All My Children and One Life To Live? Despite the fact that the Big O already had herself a farewell tribute there are stars on AMC and OLTL who have been on their respective shows longer than Winfrey was on air, can you say Bob Woods and Erika Slezak. Sure Suan Lucci got props paid to her but that was it and honestly insulting those who have worked so hard on both shows for so many years. I guess they could do it next year but at that point AMC will have been off the air almost a year. Alright I am done [...]

Will Emma Thompson Adopt Adapt Annie For Will Smith?

She's their #1 choice!

"My fans seem to get younger and younger. So it’s very important for me to speak to a child differently than I would speak to an adult. And when all a child can hear is your music and see the way you dress, that’s the only thing you can really use to kind of steer [him or her] in the right direction. So I toned it down a bit. The music will always remain authentic. So taking out a few curse words every now and then doesn’t make you less credible of a rapper."

Lindsay Lohan FAILS Alcohol Test Other News

Lindsay Lohan reportedly tested positive for alcohol sometime last week, and could once again be facing real jail time. Is it that she isn’t taking her punishment seriously, or does she have real boozing problem? I’m voting for a combination of both. From the get go, the story of Lindsay’s legal woes has been relentlessly lampooned. She is like the MacDonald’s coffee lady of Hollywood. Everybody knows about her shenanigans, and yes, everybody has a strongly held opinion about it. But behind all of the nonsense there is obviously a real problem. She clearly dodged a bullet after being sentenced to house arrest. I mean the girl had it made. Who would screw up such a lax punishment? Someone with a substance abuse problem, that’s who. Get the details and what might happen next at TMZ. I love me some True Blood. Check out these photos from the Season Four premiere – Too Fab. So how’s Pink look after giving birth? Here are some recent photos – Celebuzz. So sad. Amber Portwood is only allowed to see Leah once a week… for now – RadarOnline. The Significance of Guitar Setup

The guitar is among the most dynamic of all musical instruments. It has a profound sound that occurs to become unique from other instruments. This is one of the reasons why it's extremely acknowledged in almost all genres of music like country, blues, flamenco, bluegrass, mariachi, jota, jazz, soul, reggae, various forms of pop and rock. It isn't surprising why a lot of people love to learn how you can play this ever popular instrument.

3 Simple Steps to Tune an Electric Guitar

Characterized as having a strong and rhythmic understructure, solos, call-and-response patterns-the blues print of improvisation puts its stamp on the celebrated musical genre of jazz. A proud part of African-American culture, the history of jazz traces its roots back to the United States during the early part of the 20th century. Alas, after many jam sessions and much improvisation, jazz appreciation in the state of Rhode Island prevailed through the creation of the Newport Jazz Festival, held three days every August so residents and visitors alike can tune in to its inventive style, creative genius, and all that jazz.

Watch: The Footloose Remake Releases A Movie Trailer

Last month we got our first look at promo photos from the upcoming remake film Footloose. As you may recall, this new version of Footloose is based on the film of the same name from 1984 which starred Kevin Bacon … this new version, stars Kenny Wormald. While I’m not a huge fan of remakes, [...]

We are just days away from the release of Beyoncé‘s new album 4 and today we get to check out a couple of fancy promo album photos that will be included in the album artwork booklet. Despite the fact that B has not been getting too much positive buzz about her new disc, she has been actively promoting its release. Check out these new Beyoncé promo photos below and see what’s in store should YOU decide to buy a copy of her new CD.

I have been able to preview Beyoncé‘s new album and I’m sad to say that I am totally underwhelmed. I don’t hear any singles on the disc. While Beyoncé sings amazing ballads, her new album 4 is nothing but ballads. Still, I’m certain that her fans will support the album’s release. As for these promo photos, the Queen B looks amazing as always. I’m hopeful that the bonus tracks on the deluxe version of 4 will be fantastic … because if not, I may have to pass on picking up this album altogether :/

Use A Drum Maker To Produce Hip Hop Beats

For as long as I can remember, I've had a strong passion for music. Maybe you share that passion and that's how you ended up here today. Have you ever gotten chills from listening to your favorite song? Do you write your own lyrics, and need some production to back you up? Maybe you just want to feel what it's like to create a masterpiece. Whatever the case, you're at least a little curious about beat maker software and making your own beats. If you're like many other people just starting out, you maybe worried about how expensive this new hobby is going to be and if you can afford it. With computers being what they are today, now all it takes is a little inspiration and drive.

The Shivers: Give Me More!

I heard Miss Alana Stewart's song "perfervid" one afternoon. You know the routine- I get a lot of music thrown at me so I clicked play and got back on with my work not thinking twice. As soon as the track started though Stewart's voice was so successfully piercing that I paused just to focus on her range, the unavoidable longing in her addictive voice was hard to ignore, and before I knew it one track had turned into five, and without realizing it- I was hooked.

Purchasing art materials can be hard if you are an aspiring artist because there are so many products to choose from. There are numerous retailers that supply cheap art materials which are ideal for children but not appropriate for aspiring artists who require high calibre products so you must be prepared to research what you need. The cost of an item is not always representative of its quality as sometimes inexpensive paper products can work as well as the more premium priced brands but this not the case for all supplies.

Warp Riders by The Sword

Explosions In The Sky is an instrumental group founded in Austin, Texas, consisting of drummer Chris Hrasky, and a trio of guitarists: Munaf Rayani, Mark Smith, and Michael James (who splits time between guitar and bass). Often described as post-rock, their music uses typical rock band instrumentation to explore a slightly different musical terrain and texture from what is normally found on rock radio. At times their music can have an almost orchestral quality to it and at others it's a distortion-laden triple-guitar attack.

How to Become a Songwriter Break Those Bad Habits

Most Bob Dylan albums include songs that were heavily laden with influence from his exposure to blues, folk and country music. I have been an ardent Dylan follower for over 30 years since I was introduced to his songs by my music teacher back in grade school. I was instantly hooked to his songs, and found myself spending my evenings listening to his recordings; enraptured by his original, strange and compelling music. If you are a big Dylan fan like me, then you probably are a big fan of these albums, which give a glimpse of his greatness.

One of the Best Bob Dylan Albums

I hate it to begin on a sad note, but the fact is, if you're gonna write about music in general or just the 1980's in particular, you cannot ignore the following information. At the close of 1980 on December 8, former member of the legendary group the Beatles, John Lennon and his wife Yoko, were returning to their apartment building in Manhattan, New York. The couple had been at a recording studio, where Lennon was working on the follow up to his just released album, "Double Fantasy".

Handmade Greeting And Graduation Cards

The Juried Art process that we know today was morphed over thousands of years, with its roots deep in the great civilizations of Ancient Greece, Egypt and Rome. The medium du jour was focused on sculpture, architecture and, to a lesser degree, painting. A tincture of time would provide for the development of a sophisticated process that would eventually create an atmosphere for inclusion and exclusion of art works and even the artists that created them. The system would create an aura of reputation that artists would come to depend on to generate sales and justify prices they would garner from sales resulting from the exhibitions.

Top Tips to Learn to Play the Guitar

Parachute is a pretty young pop rock band, as well as its members. After graduating from college in 2008, some enthusiastic dreamers formed the band that was first called Sparky's Flaw until one of the biggest skincare brand - Nivea - asked the change of the name. And so, Sparky's Flaw became Parachute, a "blue-eyed soul, adult pop, Maroon 5-style faux-funk: it's the Goldilocks of pop-rock, neither too hot nor too cold, but just right" as Fly Magazine depicted it, that started a massive attack for popularity and fame.

Using a Beat Maker to Make Trance Beats

Mannheim Steamroller is a pioneer of the new age music genre, and has continuously been producing albums for the last several decades. I am a huge fan and have picked out, in my opinion, the 5 best Mannheim Steamroller songs from their Fresh Aire I album released in 1975. This album was actually used to demo hi-fi equipment, and customers would say "I like this stereo system, but I really love the record you're playing. Who is that?" So, that's how the Fresh Aire series got its start. Each of the first four Fresh Aire albums are based on a season, and Spring is the theme for Fresh Aire I. Chip Davis said the following about it: "Vivaldi did a nice piece called the "Seasons", and this sounded like a good idea for an overall concept (since Fresh Aire I seemed very "Springish") for any albums that would come later in the series. Of course, at the onset there were no plans for a whole series. We felt we'd be doing well to get one album off the ground. In fact it was the listening public's request for "Fresh Aire II" that spurred the idea to start a series."

Katie Courics ABC Deal: Announcement Expected On Monday

It looks like Katie Couric’s ABC deal is just about finalized. Rumor has it that an official announcement could come as early as Monday. So what will Katie be doing over on ABC? Find out here! Since it became known that Katie was leaving the anchor desk at CBS after her five year contract expired this year, one would think that she would be receiving offers left and right and would more than likely have a tough decision to make on what she would be doing next. Initially, she did have CBS, NBC and Warner Bros wooing her, hoping to snag the award winning journalist, but according to Variety, offers were no longer on the table for unknown reasons and it looks like she was left with only ABC as the only way to go. How much is Katie Couric’s ABC deal reportedly worth? A cool $20 million, folks. She apparently will have her own talk show that is slated for a debut in the Fall of 2012. Additionally, she would make appearances on ABC News and 20/20. After the recent announcement that ABC has canceled two long time running soaps – All My Children and One Life To Live, [...]

John McAndrew, Singer, Songwriter and Pianist

Using a reliable pocket size trumpet as a tool in a child's introduction to the world of music may probably be one of the best life changing lessons parents can give. A child should not be forced to study or learn a musical instrument, but yes, parents should encourage their children to do so. Remember, being forced is different from being encouraged. If you notice your child to be having some inclination to music, but is not really sure what type of instruments he or she should learn, then trumpets and other brass instruments could be the best choice.

trace-adkins-loses-home-in-fire.jpg

So terrible!

Country star and winner of Celebrity Apprentice Trace Adkins lost his Brentwood home in a brutal fire on Saturday. According to fire officials, the house was a "total loss."

Trace's wife Rhonda was out running errands while their three daughters and dog were home with their nanny. Thankfully, all of them escaped the fire unharmed.

Trace was on his way to Alaska for a concert and didn't learn of the tragic event until hours later.

All of his gold albums and other country music awards and memorabilia were stored in the basement of the house and were not touched by the fire. They did, however, have some water damage.

When asked about the loss of the home, Rhonda replied, "It's just stuff."

So true. And what a positive outlook to have on the whole situation. We're just so happy that nobody was harmed in the fire.

Changing a VHS to DVD

Whether you are a famous painter or an aspiring artist, you must never compromise on the quality of the art materials you use. Quality materials are essential regardless of your artistic ability as it does not matter if you create paintings for a living or you are just a hobbyist because how good your supplies are will directly impact on the art you make. Shopping for art materials on the internet can be confusing as it is often difficult to ascertain how good the supplies actually are because there is sometimes a big difference...

Jennifer Lopez Hits Road With Hubby For New Show

Called ¡Q’Viva! The Chosen, Lopez’s new show will follow her and Marc Anthony around the Western Hemisphere as they search for international talent. Sounds big, doesn’t it? It’s one thing to show up at an arena and sift through hundreds of singers. It’s quite another to travel to over twenty different countries to find, as they put it, the “world’s most extraordinary talent.” That’s exactly what the celebrity couple plans to do, and it will all be broadcast in three different languages all across the Americas. This isn’t just an audition based show, either. Backed by Simon Fuller, they actually plan to literally show up in cities and towns and have the residents bring them to the most talented people around. Lopez says that will include trips to “clubs, bars, dance studios, underground dance halls and festivals” in the various locations they travel to. Once they are all rounded up, the best of the best will be brought back to California and polished up for a huge show. I’m not sure I’ve even heard of a television project with a loftier sounding premise. It is certainly a risk, but I think they can pull it off. They will have the [...]

Watch: Paris Hilton Gets Scolded On The View

This week, Paris Hilton and her mother Kathy made an appearance on The View to promote her new WE TV reality TV series The World According to Paris which, according to Paris, is meant to show the world the “real” her. Right off the bat, both Whoopi Goldberg and Barbara Walters grilled Paris about her [...]

Last night David and I got to hang out with our friend Emma and all we basically did was eat and talk and eat and talk … and watch TV. Then we snacked. Yeah, it was a pretty rad night. Because Emma is heading off on an Australian adventure a couple of weeks, we wanted to get in as much hang out time with her while we still can. All in all, not a bad way to spend a Wednesday night.

We made our way to Hugo’s for dinner and got talked into trying their Avocado ice cream with Chipotle sauce dessert. Let me tell you … it was grody to the max. The avocado ice cream wasn’t bad but the Chipotle sauce? Ew! It was like eating ice cream with BBQ sauce. Trust me, don’t try it :( Except for the dessert misfire, the rest of our night was really fun.

But tonight, oh man, tonight is going to be awesome. I’m going to see the 80′s hair/metal band Cinderella at the House of Blues:

Now, I was never a big metal head but I do remember and appreciate the awesome hairband videos of the late 80′s and early 90′s … when I was too young to attend these kinds of concerts. I’ve always wanted to go to a show like this so … I guess tonight is my chance. My friend Jen is going to the show as well so, yeah, it should be fun. I’ll be sure to share some photos from the bitchin’ Cinderella show tomorrow.

Happy Thursday!

Though it initially aired in only the seven cities of Atlanta, Cleveland, Detroit, Houston, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and San Francisco, the show met with a successful start. Rihanna has unleashed a new music video for her song Man Down — the latest single released from her album Loud — and in the vid, Ri Ri is seen shooting a man dead after he physically assaults her. To be honest, the song itself has a lighthearted feel to it … one that doesn’t seem to match the violence featured in the clip. Check it out below.

You know, I’ve heard the song many times and yes, she does talk about exerting revenge on a man in the song but, again, the upbeat, sing/songiness of the track makes Man Down sound … happy? I dunno how to describe it. The video is interesting, it starts out with the shooting and then tells the story of what led up to the shooting. The alternating of pretty scenes with the violence is obviously intentional. I honestly don’t know if I like the video or not. After watching this video, I can’t help but think about the physical attack that Chris Brown unleashed on her a couple of years ago … that incident can’t not have been on her mind when she made this video. HMMM. What do you think of this video for Man Down?

Lady Gaga: Taking Determination and Talent to the Limit

Born in 1960, Adam Clayton was the eldest son of Brian and Jo Clayton. Birthplace was Oxfordshire, England, but not for long however. Brian Clayton was a pilot, so the family moved around a bit, before finally settling down in Malahide, Ireland. Adam was now 5 years-old. He spent some time playing with neighborhood kids. Including the Evans' kids, Dave, his brother Dick and sister Gillian. If you don't know already or if you read the other bios, Dave Evans would later become Adam's U2 bandmate, the Edge. The two families parted ways and the inevitable would have to wait until Adam would read Larry's note on Mount Temple's bulletin board.

two-and-a-half-men-not-in-the-running-for-best-comedy-series-emmy

Yeah, after the year they've had, we're not surprised!

Although Two and a Half Men is apparently eligible for the nomination of Best Comedy Series at this year's Emmy Awards, sources close to the production have revealed that given the circumstances surrounding Charlie Sheen and his firing from the sitcom, Warner Brothers TV smartly decided to NOT submit it for the accolade!

However, the studio will be creating ad campaigns for series co-stars Jon Cryer, Holland Taylor, Angus T. Jones and Conchata Ferrell in support of their individual nominations, which are normally submitted by their representatives!

As for Sheen, he missed the April 29th deadline!

Shocker! LOLz!

Here's hoping that all of his co-stars get properly recognized for their amazing performances and work ethic, given the circumstances surrounding that this year! They all went above and beyond, and we think that deserves some serious nominations!

Fingers crossed, guys!

The first is playing by plucking the strings, which is known as pizzicato and will be written like this on your sheet of music. Yesterday was a kind of a bummer day for me … after 3 years together … I had to say goodbye to my beloved VW. Wülfgang Jürgen-Klaüs was the VW Tiguan that I leased 3 years ago and after careful consideration, I decided to give the car back to the dealership. Despite the decision not to buy the car, I did love it and miss it muchly. It was a long, somewhat sad drive to the VW dealership yesterday … I did my best to relish the last moments with Wülfie before I had to say goodbye.

I’m not sure what car I’m going to get next but I’m thinking about going with an American car from a Detroit car company. David and I really love his Cadillac so I might get one myself. But, I can’t really test drive any cars right now. This afternoon, David and I fly up to San Francisco, CA to spend the weekend with his brother Aram and then in early August we’re off to Rhode Island to visit David’s parents before we spend some time in NYC visiting his sister Eden. After our travels are finished, I’m going to start car shopping.

It’s weird … I’ve never not had a car since getting my license at 16. It’s weird being carless. Both Detroit, MI and LA, CA are big driving cities … I kinda feel naked. I’ll miss my VW but it won’t be long until I find my next baby ;)

Theater Review: God Of Carnage

After missing the show on Broadway, David and I were very excited to learn that the Tony Award-winning play God of Carnage was being performed here in LA with the original Broadway cast — Marcia Gay Harden, Hope Davis, James Gandolfini and Jeff Daniels. We waited for a performance where we could get really good [...]

So … I had a very long night/morning today … and am alive and functioning to tell the tale. As I mentioned yesterday, last night David and I attended the 8pm performance of the stage play God of Carnage and then I attended a 2AM concert performance by Prince in the intimate Foundation Room at the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA. I’ll post my review of God of Carnage shortly but the Prince show, man, what an incredible night.

As many of you are well aware by now, I’ve been seeing Prince a LOT in concert here in LA over the past few weeks including a couple of very intimate shows at The Troubadour a couple of weeks ago. Last night’s House of Blues show in the Foundation Room was truly the most intimate show possible … arm’s length … I was arm’s legnth from Prince for most of the night (except for the times when he stepped away to play bass or jam in front of his speaker). The show was a 2 1/2 hour jam session … I was literally in awe the entire time. Even in high heel shoes, Prince only came up to my nose … that is how short he is … so I am very glad that I managed to get right up in front of him to watch the show. Even 3 people back and I would not have been able to see him at all. The Foundation Room is the size of a large living room … and I am not exaggerating at all. Because there was no elevated stage, most people in the room couldn’t even see Prince at all. I’m not sure what the experience was like for those people but I know that I will never, EVER see him in a more intimate place. It was truly a night/morning to remember. I rolled home hearing the early birds chirping … it was a spectacular night.

Tonight, I’m heading out to see another concert … this time, Stevie Nicks! She is playing The Wiltern on her birthday tonight … and I am so excited. I’ve always wanted to see her live and almost saw her a few weeks ago but she was touring with Rod Stewart and there was no way in HELL I was gonna sit thru a Rod Stewart show. I’m gonna need a nap this afternoon but, yeah, I’m really lookin’ forward to Stevie!!

Watch: Oprah Winfrey Signs Off On The Final Episode Of The Oprah Winfrey Show

Welp … that’s it. The very final episode of The Oprah Winfrey Show has aired in parts of the country, including the show’s home city of Chicago, IL. As expected, there were no guests on today’s final episode … it was just Oprah and her audience. Oprah shared her love, thanks and tentative goodbyes to [...]

David and I made it home from Las Vegas, NV last evening with enough time to unwind and relax a bit for the rest of the night. Altho our weekend was fun and relaxing, we didn’t want to go all out last night because we have a big night tonight. We are finally seeing the Broadway hit play God of Carnage here in LA and then later on tonight (well, early tomorrow morning to be exact) I am seeing Prince perform a very intimate concert for 100 people at the House of Blues. Oh yes, it’s going to be a very long night indeed.

David and I missed seeing God of Carnage when it ran on Broadway in NYC last year so we were thrilled to learn that the original cast would be doing the play here. We’ve been looking forward to this show for months so … we are very excited.

On Monday, Prince announced that he is doing 3 shows tonight here in LA at an “intimate venue”. Yesterday, the Prince symbol popped up at the Hollywood Palladium suggesting that he would be playing there:

But it was reported today that he is actually playing the House of Blues in West Hollywood, CA. I cannot attend the 7 or 10pm shows … but I’m going to the 11:59pm show (which is actually scheduled to begin at 1am). OY! I will be dead tomorrow but … the capacity for the midnight show is only 100 people so … it’s gonna be worth it.

I’ll have all the deets tomorrow :D
