While there are a HOST of inventive and exciting movie roles available to young actresses these days, Megan Fox decided to take on the role of Lily the Bird Woman. Megan Fox is known as one of the most beautiful women in the world. So when she was picked to play an angelic Bird Woman in the film Passion Play, she certainly cut a heavenly figure. The actress went topless in the movie and brings her usual vamped up sensuality to the role. But even her toned body could not help the film, which has been universally panned. The former Transformers star plays sideshow attraction Lily the Bird Woman. Her wings have onlookers wondering if she is an angel from heaven or just a freak of nature. In the film she wears tiny white shorts and high heels with large wings sprouting from her back. She modestly covers her breasts with her hands in stills released from the movie. She teams up with Mickey Rourke who plays a trumpeter whose life changes when he meets Lily at a carnival. The film follows their romance as the two troubled souls fall for each other. Despite the near nudity and skimpy outfits, the movie did not get a cinema release and is going straight to DVD after a spate of poor reviews. ‘Awful’, a ‘mess’ and ‘an absolute car wreck’ have been used to describe the film. Even Rourke has slammed the film saying: ‘It’s so bad. In your career and all the movies you make, you’re going to make dozens of terrible ones’, he tried to explain.

LOL! Poor Megan. I would assume that the opportunity to play a bird woman sounded appealing at one point but, Lord Have Mercy, did no one tell her what a terrible idea it would turn out to be in actual practice. I really love Mickey Rourke … the man speaks the truth at all times. He’s usually not one to sugar coat anything. If he says the movie sucks, I have to take him at his word. Let’s hope that Megan Fox is able to nab a more successful role the next time around. I would hope the only place to go from playing a bird woman is up … maybe something less fowl next time?

Last month we got our FIRST LOOK at the first images from the Fright Night remake starring Colin Farrell, David Tennant and Anton Yelchin and today we get to see a new batch of photos from the film. This new batch of photos gives us a much better sense of the film … and fans of the original will recognize that the remake appears to pay homage to the original.

Senior Charlie Brewster (Anton Yelchin) finally has it all going on: he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the most coveted girl in his high school. In fact, he’s so cool he’s even dissing his best friend. But trouble arrives when Jerry (Colin Farrell) moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right—but everyone, including Charlie’s mom (Toni Collette), doesn’t notice. After observing some very strange activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on the neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself in this Craig Gillespie-helmed revamp of the comedy-horror classic.

HMMM … I’m still not sure how I feel about this remake. Colin Farrell as the vamp still seems … odd to me. But I am very happy that David Tennant is in the film … that alone will get me to see Fright Night when it opens on August 19. What do y’all think of these new photos. Apparently a marriage was not meant to be because clearly the couple couldn’t make a serious go of it. Leo and Bar are dunzo, y’all!

It’s the end of the road, once again, for Leonardo DiCaprio and Bar Refaelii. The Hollywood superstar, 36, and the Israeli supermodel, 25, who had been together for five years – minus a six-month break halfway through – have called it quits, a source confirms to PEOPLE. The pair began dating in the spring of 2006, and tried to keep their romance low profile despite their stardom. They split in 2009, but were back together the following year. Refaeli later said she was grateful for that six-month break – that she “grew up” during that time apart and learned not to fear being alone.

HMMM … even tho many people thought these two would get married, I was never convinced. Leonardo DiCaprio does not strike me as the kind of guy who is likely to take a wife. He does not seem like husband material to me. If I had to make a wild assumption and guess what caused the split, I’d have to say that Bar prolly wanted to get married and Leo did not. Perhaps Bar wanted to start a family and Leo did not. Of course, I have no way of knowing for sure … but I can see Leonardo DiCaprio as a lifelong bachelor. It’s a shame that the couple couldn’t make their relationship work but, in the end, it’s prolly for the best that the couple split up now.

With less than 10 eps left until The Oprah Winfrey Show goes off the air for good, rumor and speculation is running rampant as to who the final guests will be. According to a new report, that MUST be taken with a grain of salt as there is NO confirmation whatsoever, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith are said to be Oprah‘s chosen final guests. IMHO, Oprah could’ve gotten someone bigger (anyone at all) but if this report turns out to be true, Will and Jada will have the distinction of being the last guests ever on The Oprah Show.

There has been much speculation over who will be given the honour of being Oprah Winfrey’s last ever guest as her show comes to a close after 25 years. And if recent reports are to be believed, the ‘chosen ones’ to appear on the May 25 show are going to be Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Fans and media reports have been trying to guess who will make the last entrance on the talk show titan’s stage but The Daily reports it will be the Smiths. Options had included Oprah’s long term boyfriend Stedman Graham, couch-jumper Tom Cruise, Jennifer Aniston, Gabrielle Giffords or her protégé Dr Phil McGraw. Smith and his wife and children have been on Oprah’s show many times in the past. Karate Kid star Jaden and Whip My Hair singer Willow have previously joined their parents on the famous couch. With only ten shows left, fans are excited to see who will be on the final episodes. Two of the hours will reportedly be dedicated to A Million Little Pieces author James Frey.

HMMM … this is an interesting report … I’m not sure I totally believe it but the Smiths are as plausible as any other guest. I was under the impression that the last episode ever of The Oprah Winfrey Show would feature no guests at all … just Oprah and her audience. There isn’t much time left until the final episode of Oprah airs and then is gone forever. Do you think Will and Jada Smith will be the final guests? So my day yesterday was a total snoozefest … literally. Thankfully, I’m starting to feel better from the ill effects I suffered over the weekend but I am still not back to 100%. I did manage to rest up yesterday … which isn’t all too exciting but did help me feel better today.

If you can believe it, there were rumors of a secret Prince concert at a tiny club here in Hollywood last night and I managed to get ready to fly out the door … just in case (yes, I know, I’m crazy). There were rumors flying all over the place about where Prince might show up … in the end, I understand the plans fell thru with the booking venue and the secret show never happened. Tickets for this Friday and Saturday night did go on sale at noon so … some friends and I will be seeing Prince a couple more times this coming weekend.

Tonight, Darion and I are going to a special movie screening that I can’t really talk about just yet. But we are both very excited and looking forward to a fun night out :D

Late yesterday afternoon I started feeling … under the weather (I don’t dare use the “s” word) and it turns out that I continued to feel worse and worse as the night progressed. Because I have 3 nights of Prince concerts ahead of me, I wanted to make sure that I got as much rest as possible so that I could start feeling better. Emma, Josh and his cousin Steve came over to hang out for a bit … but all I could do is pop some meds and go to sleep.

As I was waiting for my medicine to kick in, I busted out my concert ticket album and box of concert memorabilia to reminisce about the amazing Prince shows I’ve seen over the years. I got one of Prince‘s picks at his concert at the Roosevelt Hotel back in 2007 and I’ve been collecting Prince tambourines since the mid-90s. I am happy to report that I’m feeling a bit better today so I will — hopefully — be in great shape for the concert tonight. I’ll need all my strength so I can bang the Hell out of my tambourine at the show tonight.

It’s gonna be a long night for me … after the Prince concert, I’m **hoping** to stay awake for the Royal Wedding. I’m gonna do my best to bear witness but … we’ll see. Happy Thursday, y’all!!
